Last night at our elders meeting, each of us shared how we began our journey with Christ. It turned out that several had never heard how each other had come to Christ.

I wonder how many boards of churches are in a similar situation. After several years of being together, of serving together, they still haven’t shared their most basic life story...

Stories can be true, false, or fiction that teaches truth. Stories are powerful. Ultimately language, print, art, theater, and movies communicate stories. The message of the gospel is a story. Great stories send us farther along our journey towards redemption and God.
