This weekend is a big weekend in our area. The little village of Ida steps out big time with its seasonal festival “Christmas In Ida”.
With activities running throughout the weekend, the featured event is the Parade of Lights on Saturday night. One of the biggest Christmas parades in Michigan, 150 to 200 floats turn out to provide a spectaular experience of light and sound.
This year Christmas in Ida features Radio Disney, radio and television broadcasts, and the expectation of 60-100,000 people. Talk about proof that big dreams can come true!
Morocco joins the parade for our third year. If you would like to help finish prepping the float, then join us at Kurt & Kelly Huss’s house at 7p., Thursday, December 1, 2005.
If you would like to participate in the parade with us, walking with our float, contact Violet Olrich by clicking here
